CSA (our) week 8: September 3rd, 2009

1. Eggplant
2. Radishes
3. Tomatoes, Mini
4. Cabbage, Red
5. Peppers
6. Beans: Romano
7. Basil


I learned from this week's share: Red Cabbage lasts a ridiculously long time in the refrigerator (like 4 weeks.) Basil, does not. Also, I do not so much like cooked radishes. I should (and will) probably try using them in a raw salad from now on.

Eggplant: Broiled

Peppers: Broiled

Beans: Cooked in a red sauce with mini tomatoes.

Radishes: Broiled with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Cabbage: Used randomly (salad, egg rolls)
